Hi all, Ryan Watson here with Modernfold Chicago. Today we’re here to talk about a new project at 350 North Orleans in Chicago. Flexible space is being designed with both performance and transparency in mind. Modernfold Chicago is proud to provide a combination of Skyfold and Modernfold Acousti-Clear operable partitions.

The Skyfold wall separates two on-site training rooms and is designed as a 25-foot-wide by 8.5-foot-high fully automated vertically folding partition. With 60STC, it stores neatly overhead in the ceiling pocket. There are no floor or side stacking storage pockets required and no manual panel movement. The system is fully automated. Skyfold panels are finished in Duvaltex fabric, colorway Marin C-glass, giving the space a clean, refined look while supporting focused training, meetings, and collaboration.

In other areas, the project incorporates Modernfold Acousti-Clear operable glass partitions, delivering a visual openness, natural light, and acoustic separation. These systems feature clear-tempered glass, automatic seals, and a 51STC. Helping to create private meeting and training environments without sacrificing the open, modern feel of the office.
