Operable Partitions
Operable partition systems give you the ability to reconfigure interior space quickly and reliably. These versatile systems are commonly used in conference rooms, multi-purpose rooms, hospitality, classrooms and convention facilities. Panel configurations range from single panel for maximum flexibility, to paired panel for quick setup, to continuously hinged automated for high-traffic use.
Acousti-Seal Encore®
The Acousti-Seal Encore is Modernfold’s top-performing operable partition, built on a 4-inch platform with acoustic ratings of 52, 54, and 56 STC. Finish options include vinyl, fabric, carpet, full-height, writable and paintable surfaces.
Acousti-Seal Legacy®
The Acousti-Seal Legacy is built on a 3-inch platform with roll-formed, welded steel panel construction for long-term durability. Acoustic ratings of 28, 50, and 52 STC are available. Finish options include vinyl and fabric wallcoverings and full-height writable surfaces. A 1-hour fire rating is available as an option.
Acousti-Seal Premier®
The Acousti-Seal Premier is a 3-inch platform system with a range of panel substrate options and acoustic ratings of 28, 47, and 50 STC. Finish options include vinyl and fabric wallcoverings, full-height writable surfaces, wood veneers, and plastic laminates.
Acousti-Seal Encore® Micro-Perf
The Acousti-Seal Encore Micro-Perf is Modernfold’s most advanced sound-absorption operable wall panel, built on the proven Acousti-Seal Encore platform and independently certified. Its perforated panel face achieves an industry-leading NRC of .90 bare core, reaching .95 when covered with one of two available acoustical covering lines. A full wall-to-wall assembly is certified at 49 STC; sealed to the back of a Type III pocket door, the assembly reaches 51 STC.
Presto® Package Safety System
The Preso Package Safety System adds automation, security, and safety to Modernfold’s operable partition line through a single push-button operation. It is available on all Modernfold Encore®, Legacy®, and Premier® automated wall systems.
