McKeon FireFighter Model D200

The FireFighter® Model D200 protective curtain is made of a flexible fire-rated fabric that is US laboratory tested and approved for unlimited widths. The D200 is approved for use in multiple applications where the twenty-minute UL 10B or UL 10C rating is required for fire door or shutter to provide protection. The D200 model is available in unlimited widths and heights.

The D200 is up to 3-hour rated UL 10D and UL 1784 smoke and draft tested and listed without an artificial bottom seal.

McKeon FireFighter Model D200E

In compliance with building code exiting requirements, the D200E provides a patented and burn-tested egress feature and is the only protective fire curtain assembly available with a 20-minute rating UL10B and UL10C without hose stream. This system is available in widths up to 60’ and heights up to 24’and with up to eight complying egress doors.

The FireFighter® Model D200E is up to 3-hour UL 10D rated and UL 1784 smoke and draft tested and listed without an artificial bottom seal.

McKeon FireFighter Model D400

The unique FireFighter® D400 curtain shutter has been tested and labeled to UL 10B for 90 minutes with hose stream and UL 1784 smoke and draft. It is designed to protect openings in any wall rated up to two hours—including firewalls and fire barrier walls—from heat, fire smoke and the hose stream. It is a simple but unique configuration of textile layers permanently joined together as one unit and stored on a barrel in the head box. When deployed, the D400 rolls down just like a rolling steel door. Available in widths up to 80’ and heights up to 40’ and in a variety of finishes including standard gray, powder coat selected from a full range of RAL colors, or stainless steel.

Manufactured from protective assembly material that has been tested and certified under UL 10B, 10C, 10D and UL 1784 the SmokeFighter® D100 model is approved to span unlimited widths and heights up to 24 feet. The SmokeFighter Model D100 exceeds fire and life safety requirements for draft curtains in building codes.

McKeon SmokeFighter Model D150

When model building codes specify smoke only separation and egress is not required, the SmokeFighter® Model D150 is the ideal solution. When an alarm condition activates this fixed-in-place system, smoke is contained by side guides and bottom bars. The Model D150 is available in unlimited widths and heights.

The SmokeFighter® D150E provides a smoke and draft listed curtain assembly at the point of access to an elevator car with egress that complies with the exiting requirements of the building codes. This system incorporates a vision panel (smoke-rated assemblies only) and has been tested without an artificial bottom seal. The SmokeFighter® D150E is available in widths up to 60’ and heights up to 24’ with up to eight complying egress doors.

McKeon SmokeFighter Model D500S

The SmokeFighter® Model D500S is a vertical acting smoke protective curtain that forms a floor-to-ceiling enclosure with technology that creates its own corners and jambs, eliminating the need for mullions or corner posts. This provides easy installation, smooth and simple operations, and easily conceals within the finished ceiling. The UL1784 labeled system can reduce the volume of smoke in an atrium, protect a corridor or mitigate smoke migration. The system is available in widths up to 500’ and heights up to 48’.

Smoke Guard Vertical Fire & Smoke Rated Curtains

These vertically deploying curtains are mounted within a steel housing, typically installed above the finished ceiling. The curtain is captured vertically on both sides by a guide assembly and is equipped with a bottom bar to ensure the curtain is properly sealed. The standard housing and side guide finish is galvanized steel, RAL colors are available at an additional cost. Vertically deploying curtains are available in smoke-rated assemblies that comply with UL1784 and fire-rated assemblies that comply with UL10D.
The Smoke Guard M2100 Fire and Smoke Curtain is ideal for atrium separation, wall openings and specialty enclosures where fire-rated protection is required. This system is custom-built for openings with widths up to 16’ at 12’ high with housing dimensions of approximately 6 ¼” x 6”. For added flexibility, the M2500 Fire and Smoke Curtain can be customized for openings with widths up to 60’ and heights up to 20’ with housing dimensions of approximately 11 ¾” x 10 ½”. The M1000 Fire Curtain protects window openings with widths up to 8’ and heights up to 8’.

Smoke Guard Perimeter Fire & Smoke Rated Curtains

The M4000 Perimeter Fire and Smoke Rated Curtain system is a pleated curtain that is stored in a 19 3/8” x 9” headbox generally installed above the ceiling. Requiring no corner posts, it can be configured closed, box-like, or in a multi-faceted open-ended configuration, with or without side guides. Available for openings with widths up to 220’ and heights up to 15”, the curtain can run off a building’s standby power system should the main power system fail. When deployed, this system can protect openings up to 220 linear feet in width and 15’ in drop length. To accommodate custom installations, the highly adjustable curtain panels can be connected at angles ranging from 30 to 150 degrees. The M4000 features battery backup power, obstruction detection and can integrate with local smoke detection systems.

Smoke Guard SG Draft Curtain

This cost-effective SG Draft fire and smoke curtain is used for static applications such as warehouses, aircraft hangers, and manufacturing environments. It’s used in both sprinklered and non-sprinklered buildings for automatic smoke removal. Draft Curtains work by channeling the ceiling jet away from the fire and out of the building via roof vents to either automatically remove the smoke or delay sprinkler activation. This system is available in unlimited widths and variable drop lengths meet the requirements of UL1784 as a smoke and draft listed assembly.
