Vertical Folding Retractable Wall
Vertical folding retractable walls deploy from the ceiling and retract completely out of sight when not in use, freeing the full floor area without the need for a storage pocket. Each custom-built system is engineered for acoustic performance, operational flexibility, and clean design, operating quietly without floor or wall tracks. Common applications for vertical folding retractable walls include conference centers, schools, hotel banquet rooms, and open-plan offices where flexible room configuration is a regular operational need.
Prisma™
The Prisma is Skyfold’s vertically telescoping glass wall and the only retractable glass system in the line with an STC 52 acoustic rating. It operates without floor or wall track, reaching a maximum height of 12’ with unlimited width. When not in use, the system retracts fully into the ceiling. Touchscreen keypad operation lets users reconfigure spaces quickly and quietly. Glass options include etched, frosted, colored, and standard clear, with a range of standard frame finishes available.
Zenith® Premium Series
The Zenith Premium is a fully automated, ceiling-mounted system with acoustic ratings from 51 to 60 STC, the highest available in the vertical folding category. Maximum height is 14’ with unlimited width. Its narrow deployment path works in tight or obstructed spaces without moving furniture first. The system also works with stepped and sloped floors. When retracted, the system is fully concealed and flush with the ceiling. Optional features include integrated LED lighting and an NRC up to 0.65 (at 50 STC).
Zenith® Series
The Zenith Series is a fully automated, ceiling-mounted system designed for spaces where wall obstructions or furniture placement would limit a standard vertically folding partition. Its narrow deployment path means the wall can be operated without moving furniture first. Two Zenith walls can also be installed to meet at 90 degrees, making it a good fit for intersecting configurations. The maximum height is 14’ with unlimited width, and the system works with stepped and sloped floors. Acoustic ratings of 48, 51, 55, and 60 STC are available. Optional features include integrated LED lighting and an NRC up to 0.65 (at 50 STC), making it a versatile choice for a wide range of commercial applications.
Classic™ Series
The Classic Series is the fully automated, vertical folding system for large or architecturally complex spaces. It reaches a maximum height of 36’ with unlimited width and works with both sloped and stepped floors. The system deploys in an accordion-style fold, and two Classic walls can be installed to meet at 90 degrees for intersecting configurations. Acoustic ratings of 51, 55, and 60 STC are available, with optional LED lighting and NRC up to 0.65 (at 50 STC). The Classic Series is well-suited for convention centers, ballrooms, performing arts spaces, and other large-scale venues.

Mirage®
Skyfold’s Mirage is a fully automated, vertically folding retractable glass wall that maintains a visual connection between divided spaces. It achieves an acoustic rating of 33 STC with a maximum height of 24’ and unlimited width. High-efficiency acoustic seams keep sound from traveling between spaces while maintaining the open-concept appearance. Glass options include low iron, frosted, etched, and appliques, with a standard clear anodized frame option with the choice of light gray (RAL-7053 Matte Finish) or Jet Black (RAL-9005 Matte Finish) and custom finish options available on request.
