Modernfold Chicago was proud to attend the 2025 International Sales Conference, hosted by Modernfold at the Grand Hyatt in Scottsdale, Arizona. The event served as a platform for innovation, collaboration and progress. And it didn’t disappoint!

This year’s conference brought exciting news and it’s clear that Modernfold is continuing to lead the way in operable wall innovation. Here’s a look at the major updates that will help shape the future of operable wall solutions:

Pureview® Expands with Paired and Continuously Hinged with Increased STC

The Pureview® product line received an enhancement to its paired and continuously hinged configurations. Its sound-blocking power got a serious boost too. Where these Pureview® configurations used to be limited to 15 STC, they can now reach ratings of 33, 35, and even 37 STC thanks to improved engineering, innovative vertical seals and upgraded hinge components. These new options make it everything you need for a quieter, more flexible space that’s still easy to move and use.

ComfortDrive® Welcomes Pureview®

Another big announcement: PureView® and PureView® Plus are now available with ComfortDrive® automation. This means seamless operation without sacrificing the clean lines and elegance of a glass wall. And no matter the STC level, 15, 33, 35, or 37, users will get the same consistent aesthetic.

With these upgrades, PureView® now fully matches the functionality that had been exclusive to Compactline®. As a result of this, Compactline® will be discontinued starting June 30, 2025.

New Durable Wovens Standard Fabric Covering Program

Another exciting highlight: Modernfold has teamed up with Carnegie to launch Modernfold’s new Durable Wovens program, building on the success of the popular Xorel line. The Durable Wovens line features five stylish patterns: Arctic, Topknot, Abby, Fjord and Alpine, offered in 36 different color and texture combos. It’s a versatile mix that gives designers plenty to work with, so spaces don’t just work well but look great too.

Acousti-Clear® is Upgraded with SFIC Locks

Soon, all Acousti-Clear® panels will come standard with SFIC (Small Format Interchangeable Core) locks, a change driven directly by customer feedback. These new locks replace the older Euro-style lock cylinder with a master-keyable, removable core, making them a smart choice for both new installs and retrofit projects. This will also allow Modernfold to provide an Escape Function lockset. This enhancement offers more flexibility and control.
