The presence of an operable wall automatically offers flexibility in space management. Adding a marker board surface to the wall adds functionality, transforming it from space separation to a collaboration tool.

Markerboards can be added at full height or as partial panels. Carol Stream Public Library opted for 4×4 marker board panels to enhance its Modernfold operable walls.

Recovering movable walls in rigid vinyl can serve a dual purpose. Available in more than 150 options, new rigid vinyl wall covering can add a pop of color to any space and offer enhanced durability.

We added rigid vinyl to the bottom of the operable wall panels separating the soccer pitch from the basketball court at Falcon Park Recreation Center to help with impact resistance. We were able to match the color of the stationary walls for a cohesive look.

Mirror Mirror on the Wall

The addition of mirrored panels adds dimension and depth to smaller spaces created by deploying operable walls. By adding mirrors to alternating panels, RPM Seafood enhanced its private dining area making it appear larger and more inviting.
