Ryan Watson, Modernfold Chicago. We’re on the 24th floor of a confidential client at 360 North Green. Got a beautiful view of the city on the North End. We’re in the Fulton Market District.
We have here the Skyfold Zenith Premium System. So what makes this the premium as opposed to the traditional Zenith is we’ve got upgraded touchscreen control and we’ve got some ceiling closure panels up at the top. So how this works is we can turn on the touchscreen. We’ll type in a code. It is a two-person operation like all Skyfold systems. We’ll type in the code. We’ve got another person on the other side. All right, they have acknowledged that we’re going to raise the wall before the wall starts to go up the end seals are retracting. I don’t know if you can hear the little hum once that stops the wall will start to ascend. And Premium with the ceiling closure panels, they maintain a vertical or I should say a horizontal position the entire time They just go up and down as needed. Whereas the Zenith system all the folding is going to happen at the upper third, lower two-thirds of the wall is going to maintain a narrow path of travel. So it’s a little more convenient with furniture tables and chairs. So this whole wall will probably take about a minute to a minute and a half to fully cycle up into the ceiling and cycle back down. We’ve got white seals and a Carnegie Xorel wall covering.
So while you’re operating the wall, if you happen, if the wall were coming down, if we happen to notice an obstruction or a person in the way, you just simply let go of your key or your button and the wall would just simply stop moving. You just go right back to where you left off and hit the button to have it go up or down. So take a look when it comes all the way down, the ceiling closure panels stay flat or horizontal the entire time. They don’t ever fold, they just kind of go up and down. The other difference is the pocket wall is your acoustic barrier. You know normally your acoustic barrier is the center of your door all the way back up to the deck you don’t have that with this it’s the pocket walls are the actual acoustic barrier. There’s some little lips you can probably see little metal lips. Those are by Skyfold and it comes down and that’s where it closes off.
